Sentinel

This page explains the daily watch over your programs: what it reviews, and why a review that turned up nothing is still recorded as a result rather than left blank. Read it if you need to know whether every program has actually been looked at.

Every program, watched every day — and told plainly when nothing was found.

Sentinel is InaiBridge's continuous watch over your portfolio. Once a day, it reviews every program in your organization, on its own, and surfaces what deserves a human's attention — a risk emerging, a commitment slipping, a signal worth a decision. You don't have to ask it to look. It already has.

The quiet days count too

Most assurance tools only speak up when something is wrong — which leaves you unable to tell the difference between "all clear" and "nobody checked." Those are not the same thing, and treating them as the same is how problems hide in plain sight.

Sentinel closes that gap. Every review is recorded, including the ones that found nothing. So at any moment you can see, for every program, one of three honest states:

  • Watched, clear — Sentinel reviewed it and found nothing that needs you. A real result, not an absence of one.
  • Not yet watched — Sentinel hasn't reviewed it. Named as a gap, never disguised as calm.
  • Watch interrupted — the review couldn't complete. Flagged, so a blind spot is never mistaken for a clean bill of health.

These three answer did we look. They are not the same as the governance posture states — breach, checked-clean, not-assessed — which answer what an assessment concluded. A program can be watched and clear by Sentinel while still being not-assessed against a control: the watch ran, and no control covers it. Both questions matter, and each is reported on its own terms.

"Examined every program, surfaced none" is an answer

When Sentinel reviews your estate and raises nothing, it tells you exactly that — examined this many, surfaced none — rather than showing you an empty screen you're left to interpret. Silence is never presented as safety. Every clear result is one Sentinel can account for, with the reason it reached it.

That is the whole discipline of the platform, applied to the watch itself: you are never shown a calm that no one verified.
